The 13th Annual Meeting of CORLEAP, the Conference of Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership, took place in Rzeszów, Poland, reaffirming the commitment of European regions and cities to supporting Ukraine and promoting EU values in the Eastern Partnership countries.

Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, Mayor of Gdańsk, emphasized unwavering support for Ukraine’s communities in their fight against Russian aggression and in post-war reconstruction. She also expressed regret over the Georgian government’s decision to freeze the country's EU accession process, urging authorities to respect citizens' rights to protest and engage in dialogue.

Radim Sršeň, Mayor of the Municipality of Dolní Studénky, underlined that the EU stands for stability and shared values. He stressed the need for local and regional authorities to share best practices and support capacity-building in candidate countries.

As part of the meeting, participants visited key sites in Rzeszów, including the Aeropolis Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park and the Medevac Hub – a medical evacuation center for Ukrainian patients.
