Sari Rautio, President of the EPP Group in the Committee of Regions, highlighted the need for a collective and societal approach to today's challenges. “Not everyone can do everything, but everyone can do something,” she underlined that resilience starts locally. Referencing the newly approved Valencia Declaration, adopted by the EPP-CoR Group during a seminar or preparedness, she called for greater emphasis on climate adaptation, innovation, and coordinated action across all levels of government.
