The 112th Plenary Session of the Committee of the Regions will take place on 3-4 June 2015 in the European Parliament Hemicycle in Brussels.
Ahead of the Plenary Session, the EPP Group in the CoR will meet with Siegfried Muresan, Member of the European Parliament and Spokesperson of the European People's Party. He will will present a new approach to job creation based on his research into the realities of current, modern EU labour markets.
The highlight of the plenary will be a debate on the Investment Plan with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. The Investment Plan for Europe aims to unlock public and private investments in the real economy. The debate will be a chance to share will hear the concerns of local and regional authorities and reassure them that everything will be done to create synergies with the EU’s structural funds.
The CoR will also reflect on its 5-years-long priorities and sustainable approach to migration in its resolutions.
