Territorial Strategies and Governance for Green Deal at Subregional Level: Role of Local and Regional Authorities for the success of the Just Transition Fund (JTF)
The launch of the JTF is an important initiative to flank the transition to an ecologically sustainable economy by 2050. In order to successfully reach the targets set through the Green Deal, the programme must guarantee support to ALL regions. LRAs should take a leading role, joining forces with the European Commission in fulfilling the Green Deal. Therefore, our workshop will help participants to get an insight in how to govern the Green Deal on local level, and the importance of LRAs in this process.
Borboly Csaba, President of Harghita County Council will organize an event within the European week of Regions and Cities, on 19th of October, 14:00 CET, entitled: Transition From Grey to Green.
