The June plenary session of the European Committee of the Regions will see debates with Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska ahead of the adoption of an own initiative opinion as well as Commissioner in charge of Health and Food Safety, Vytenis Andriukaitis on food waste. Furthermore Mari Kiviniemi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will debate with CoR members the results of the 2016 edition of the OECD report "Regions at a glance".
