The 130th CoR Plenary Session is taking place on 4-5 July in the European Parliament. Highlights include a debate on the 24th Session of the of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24), including measures for the full implementation of the Paris Agreement, with Miguel Arias Cañete, Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy and Ashok Alexander Sridharan, Mayor of Bonn. As Austria assumes the Presidency of the Council of the EU for the third time from 1 July until 31 December 2018, Karolina Edtstadler, State Secretary for the Federal Ministry of the Interior, will address the Plenary on their priorities.
