Members of the Committee of the Regions met in the 131st Plenary session on 8-10 October 2018 in Brussels. The Plenary session took place during the 16th European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC).
On 8 October, members of the CoR participated in the opening session of the EWRC at the Square conference centre, with the participation of Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.
On 9 October, the CoR Plenary session saw a debate on the State of the Union from the view of regions and cities with Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament, and Karl-Heinz Lambertz, President of the European Committee of the Regions. President Michael Schneider took part in this debate on behalf of the EPP CoR.
